Chattanooga is the fourth-largest metropolis in Tennessee, United States, and the county seat of Hamilton County. Town is situated on the Tennessee River, roughly 120 miles (193 kilometers) northwest of Atlanta, Georgia, and 115 miles (185 kilometers) southwest of Knoxville, Tennessee.
